As most epic love stories begin, our story starts with beer pong.
We met at a Fourth of July party on Lake Winnipesaukee in 2008. Justin was living at the lake for the summer and Meaghan came up for the weekend to see friends from the University of Vermont. Completely smitten after meeting Justin earlier in the day, Meaghan worked up the courage to ask Justin to be her beer pong partner that evening.
He said yes.
We lost every game that night, but if you ask us, we think we turned out to be pretty good teammates. Six years of dating, two years of long distance, three years of living together, countless adventures, one trip around the world, a brief moment in jail (sorry, mom!) , and nearly 7000 incredible days later, Justin worked up the courage to ask Meaghan to marry him while sailing together on Lake Winnipesaukee one fine October afternoon.
She said yes.
Now we're ready to call this forever, in the place where it all began, surrounded by the people who have been part of our story all along (and we can't wait).
